CHANGE OF VALUES??

Gen. 25: 29 – 31

29 – Once when Jacob was cooking some stew, Esau came in from the open country, famished. 30 – He said to Jacob, "Quick, let me have some of that red stew! I'm famished!" (That is why he was also called Edom. [a] )

It is always when we are really tierd that we loose patience, we don't want to wait … and it's here that we commit errors!!
Esau inverted the values and sold his “birth rights” because he was really tierd (v: 30) He wanted to satisfy his need at that moment and wasn't thinking about the future consequences. This can happen to us too when the only things that are important to us are things of the moment. When we don't want to fight anymore because we are really tierd, we run the risk of selling our “birth rights” so that we can feel good…
God focuses on His eternal plans while we just focus on the little detail… How sad!! … and very often these details are people who come and go, or it could be something that we can't forgive or forget.

May God help us to put in order our priorities in our list of values. The correct order would be to put that which came first in first place… God, who was and is, and is to come!
