Rescue and Restoration
As a ministry, we are working towards providing support to our community and society, transmitting Christian values and principles.
A few years ago we started to invest in getting to know the people that collect cardboard downtown (they sell the cardboard for recyling). We have been visiting a certain family in their home at least once a week for the last six months. We share with them words of encouragement and hope in their homes, and play learning games with the children. When they go downtown to work at night, we accompany them during their collection, working side by side.
The purpose of our work is to disciple them through the living Word and be an example of God’s carácter to them. We pray that they will be ministered by Him, just as each one of us needs to be ministered as well.
