Southern Cone Conference
From January 12 to 17, we had our YWAM Missionary Retreat for the Southern Cone of South America in Santiago, Chile. Workers from bases in Paraguay, Uruguay; Bolivia, Chile and Argentina were present and the event received approximately 600 missionaries Worthing full time in Youth With A Mission.
During the day, workers took part in different workshops and discussion groups which were a great blessing, as were the worship and intercession times that were held at night, where God’s presence was so strong that it brought renewing and freshness to all present.
One of the missionaries present commented on one of the words given during the retreat that was a great impact in their life:
As Jesus said: “And these signs will accompany those who believe… they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well. Mark. 16:17-18 (Verse paraphrased) These supernatural miracles will follow us. This word was what continually pushed us, during the different meetings, to dream new dreams and projects.
There is a new generation that is ricino up and we are the ones that must take our torches and continue to light the way.
