9th of July
Tradicional representation.
With the purpose of commemorating a date that has marked the history of our country, on the 9th of July the New Generation Institute called on teachers, students, family members and the educative community to celebrate together another year of Independence.
Our patriotic symbol was present together with the verses of the Argentina national anthem, making way for speeches that reflected on this special date. Pastor David Olivera shared a word from God, taking each person to reflect on what Independence means and how it consists of ‘knowing the truth’ which sets us free… ‘to know truth is to know Jesus.’
Speaches and presentations.
The first grade students gave the ceremony a special touch with a presentation of a traditional dance called ‘Candombe Jose.’ Students from first grade through to sixth grade all took part in an array of presentacions.
The ceremony, with a particular festive and familiar air to it, was drawn to a close with a few words by the director of the Institute, Fabian Fuglistaler.
