Exhibit “Teofany”
On Friday, August 13, the art exhibit “Teofany” by artist Ricardo. W. Gil, member of the Art Ministry and full-time missionary in YWAM Corrientes, took place in the city of Corrientes Capital. The exhibit was held in the “Sala del Sol” in the Extension of the National Northeastern University and the evening commenced with live music and songs written specifically for the exhibit. After short speeches by Dr. Elena P. de Torres, general coordinator of the university extension, and from the showcasing artist, those attending were treated to an artistic performance that embodied the idea of “teofany” and God’s manifestations in fire. It was a night where all present could feel God’s presence and be ministered to by the different paintings, drawings, engravings and sculptures. The exhibit will remain in the gallery until Thursday, August 26 and entry is open to the public and free of charge.
