A week with the ACHE community.
As a Mobile School of Cross Cultural Missions, during the last week of July we visited ‘Arroyo Bandera’, anaboriginal community called the ACHE. They live in Canindeyu, Paraguay, close to the Brazilian border. We have been working with both the young and old, focussing on sports, hygiene and on teaching biblical principles. We also supported and ministered to the missionaries working in this community.
It was a truly transcultural experience, because the ACHE preserve their language and other cultural roots. Like many other ethnic groups, they still don’t have the entire bible translated into their own language. We felt deeply their need to know the only true God.
