Time of Fasting and Prayer
On Monday, October 10 the Family Centre Church started two weeks of chain fasting and prayer.
Seeing the need for a different movement of God’s presence in our church, we have started a chain fast and prayer, in which the congregation has committed to fasting each day for the following two weeks.
On Tuesday, God was ministering to those who had met together to pray, manifesting His presence in their midst, speaking to them personally and calling them to a greater holiness.
In the days since beginning the chain fast and prayer, the members of the church have given testimony to what God has been doing in their lives.
One member, Isaac, shares his testimony: After several employment rejections, overnight God opened a door and one of the work applications was accepted, they called him and within a week he was employed. God is faithful!
We know that when the people of God unite in prayer and fasting, in the spiritual realm things start happening, miracles occur, lives are transformed and saved, God’s hand is moved and it is for that reason that we do this because we need to witness a new and special move of God!
