YWAM North Host to Venezuelan D.T.S. Team
During the month of November, the Youth With A Mission Corrientes base has been hosting a Discipleship Training School team that came from YWAM Caracas, Venezuela. The team is comprised of 12 students and is currently spending the first month of their practical outreach phase in Argentina. They have been working with the Family Centre Church, visiting congregation members that haven’t been attending the services. They also spent a week evangelizing door to door in the Molina Punta neighbourhood and in the university campus. On Thursday, November 24 the team was able to participate in a talk about abortion in the Northeastern University, sharing their opinions in favour of life.
Genesis Castillo, student in the DTS from Caracas, shares, “God has shown His provision during this time and that He never leaves our side, He is faithful until the end. During this outreach, I have experienced His love towards humanity in such an incredible way, and to be part of His loving plan is wonderful, it is a privilege!” Once having completed their first month of outreach in Corrientes, the team will be returning to Caracas where they will spend their second month, travelling in different regions of the country.
The team will afterwards return to their base and have their school graduation on December 17.
