Missions

“Ask me,  and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession!”  Psalm 2:8

Missions are a great challenge… we can all do missions

As the Ministry of Missions here at YWAM North we believe that
this is our heritage and that Missions was born in the very heart of God.

We believe that as Christians we should not only go out
into the mission field to preach the good news,
but also pray an support financially those who have
taken up the challenge to do so.

So how do we achieve this?

  • By organizing special missions services in the
local churches which include the following:

- A special focus with information about a specific ‘Nation’, ‘people group’
or ‘ethnic group’.
- A creative and prophetic intersession time (2 Chor 10:4)
- Choreographies, typical dances, art skits
(where both the Kings Kids and Art ministries take part).
- Specific times for preaching and Ministering.

  • Missions Office

We are in contact with other missionaries; we help with their finances, through prayer and share the work with them through the local church and as well help those interested to receive information through the internet. We send them letters approximately every week to encourage them and as well give them devotionals in their own language.

We ask for their prayer points and their photos also help us to learn more about their field of work and who they are (also for those that do not know them personally). Each year we send them a special message on their birthday and with a gift.

  • DSC00049-1By visiting and supporting, together with the
Discipleship School and the rest of our staff members,
the Ache people group. The Ache are an Indigenous
people found within Paraguay and we as a base have
decided to adopt them. We support them through
construction work, as well as providing food and
    clothing where we can.

Up-coming challenges:
